Located in the Toronto office, Nick is the President and principal broker at TheJudge, having joined the company in 2017.
Nick brings over 15 years of experience in litigation insurance and specialises in the development and management of insurance programs across Canada, already assisting hundreds of lawyers and tens of thousands of Canadians with access to justice. Whilst hailing from an Australian Military background, after relocating to England Nick worked as an ATE commercial underwriting solicitor at a global legal expense insurer where he specialised in bespoke policies for Commercial litigation files and developing new litigation insurance solutions for emerging risks. Nick is called to the bar in Australia (Queensland) and is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
Nick moved to Toronto in 2014, where he led the development of Canada’s first multi-provincial litigation insurance programs. In 2016, Nick also qualified as a Lawyer in Ontario, Canada.
When not in the office, Nick enjoys spending time with his three boys and playing squash and golf (badly) as often as he can.
