Emily joined TheJudge in 2017 and heads up the Manchester office, brokering ATE insurance and litigation funding

Emily qualified as a solicitor in private practice before moving to work for a leading After the Event insurer in 2011. Emily later moved to another insurer, managing its ATE department. Emily also has experience of the litigation funding market, having assisted with the management of a funder’s portfolio in her previous role. She is particularly experienced in dealing with professional negligence, contract disputes and insolvency matters.

Emily’s previous experience both as a solicitor in practice and working with insurers and a funder means she is uniquely placed to advice law firms and their client’s on the options available in the litigation finance market.
