We are pleased to announce that we have opened a new office in the heart of Manchester. The office, which is on Brown Street, opened in November and is headed up by Emily Thomas. Emily is a qualified solicitor and has almost 7 years’ experience in the market, having previously worked as an underwriter for 2 ATE insurers.

Our move into the North of England follows our recent international expansion into the USA and Canada with new offices in California and Toronto.

As the market leader in the placement of After the Event Insurance and Litigation Finance, we are keen to build on existing relationships with firms in the North West and to explore new opportunities in this growing market. Having a presence in the North will provide us with greater opportunity for face to face discussions with firms about specific cases and developments in the industry. For example, TheJudge has recently brought a new product to the market whereby firms can insure their WIP to enable them to conduct more cases on CFAs/DBAs and this has received a great deal of interest.

The feedback we have received so far in respect of the new office has been extremely positive and we are looking forward to working more closely with firms in and around the Manchester region where there has always been a strong appetite to use CFAs and ATE insurance.
