The appointment of James Blick as Director of TheJudge is in recognition of his technical expertise, commitment and professionalism.

In this time of great change in the After the Event insurance and Third Party Funding industry, we are delighted that both the Board and the company will be able to draw upon his experience as an ATE broker in the field of commercial litigation as well as benefit from his natural dynamism and aptitude for commercial reasoning when making important strategic decisions to keep TheJudge at the forefront of innovation within the risk transfer marketplace.

James Blick was a former Technical Claims Negotiator for major Before-the-Event legal expenses insurer before joining TheJudge as a senior commercial ATE broker in July 2008. As well as having brokered ATE insurance and third party funding for some high profile commercial disputes, James has designed and negotiated bespoke facilities for some top tier law firms in specialties such as intellectual property litigation, subrogated recovery claims and professional negligence matters.
